Home Birth

For many families, there is no place more comforting, grounding, or sacred than home. Birth at home is not only safe for low-risk women under skilled midwifery care—it’s also deeply personal. Your own space. Your own rhythm. Surrounded by the people you love.
Our licensed midwives bring all the tools of the birth center—oxygen, medications, emergency equipment—right to your doorstep. We come prepared, so you can focus fully on what matters most: welcoming your baby with peace, confidence, and joy.
Why Choose a Home Birth?
Families who choose home birth often say they felt most relaxed and empowered in their own space. Some of the reasons home birth may be right for you include:
• You feel safest at home, and you trust the natural process of birth.
• You want your other children or close family nearby—whether in the room or just down the hall.
• You want to settle into postpartum in your own bed, without packing bags or traveling in labor.
• You value minimal disruption—no car rides in labor, no packing back up in postpartum, or verses needed for your baby, simply tucking both you and your baby into your own bed.
• You want a fully individualized experience, shaped by your culture, your faith, and your family.
Our team comes ready to honor your unique needs and values. Every home birth we attend is centered around your choices, your comfort, and your vision for birth.
Is Home Birth Safe?

Yes—for healthy, low-risk pregnancies, home birth with a trained midwife is a safe and supported option. Our midwives are licensed and experienced in knowing when to stay hands-off and when to act. We bring everything needed for a normal birth—and are trained to handle the rare emergencies that can arise. And if a transfer to a hospital becomes necessary, we have protocols in place to make that transition smooth and timely.
We believe safety starts with trust, informed decision-making, and the ability to labor where you feel most secure.
Is Home Birth Right for You?
Home birth may be a good fit if:
• You are healthy and experiencing a low-risk pregnancy.
• You desire an unmedicated, physiological birth.
• You want to include siblings, parents, or a doula in your birth space.
• You want to avoid unnecessary interventions.
• You feel most at peace in your own home and want to stay in your nest from first contraction to newborn snuggles.
Whether you choose to come to the birth center or have us come to you, our heart is the same: to walk with you through pregnancy and birth with wisdom, skill, and reverence.
