Mikelann (Michael-Ann) Caywood-Baerg is a Certified Nurse Midwife that has for the past 26 years welcomed over 1100 babies into the area's families. Many of her families travel from all over Montana and the US to birth with Mikelann and her staff. She is on the Montana State University's Nursing school faculty as a preceptor and is an active member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM). She is a proud MT "transplant" who is happily married to Rich, a MT native for the past 25 years. She has one beautiful daughter, Cassidy who attends University. Mikelann loves to hike, float the rivers, and garden. She also enjoys Yoga and is an accomplished quilter. Furthermore, her life's passion is providing a safe, loving environment in which to welcome your most precious gift; your child.
Kathy Watkins-Brecheen is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), who began her life long passion as a midwife in Canada, where she recieved her BS in Nursing. She then continued her education at the U of Utah with a MS in Nursing/CNM. Kathy is licensed by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and has a Montana Advanced Nurse practice license with prescriptive authority. Furthermore, she has additional training in out of hospital births and includes Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), S.T.A.B.L.E., and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications. Kathy has practiced for 17 years in Wyoming with her experience being generated in rural outpost settings to an OB-GYN office that focused heavily on the collaborative approach to the Midwifery model of care. Kathy and her husband raise two very active adolescent boys and during her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, being involved in her community, and supporting women in all areas of life.
